Privacy policy
Short version: The app needs no account and has no analytics. Your Screen Time information and your History stay on your Mac. The optional App Store lookup sends app IDs to Apple, and the license activation contacts Dodo Payments.
The app
Information that stays on your Mac
- The list of the apps on your iPhone, with names, versions, icons, and sizes.
- The Screen Time information that your iPhone shares with your Mac, if you turn on this optional feature.
- The History of deleted apps and the list of protected apps.
iUninstall does not send this information to us. The two exceptions are below.
Information that goes over the network
- App Store lookup (optional). To show App Store links and update dates, iUninstall sends the bundle IDs of your apps to the public iTunes Search API of Apple. Apple's privacy policy applies to that request.
- License check. When you activate, check, or deactivate a license, iUninstall sends the license key and a random name for this Mac to Dodo Payments. It sends no other information.
Logs
iUninstall keeps no log of your app list or your Screen Time information.
The purchase
Dodo Payments sells iUninstall as our reseller and merchant of record. Dodo Payments collects your name, email address, and payment details to process the order and to send the license key. See the privacy policy of Dodo Payments. We get the order details, such as your email address and the country, to give support.
This website
This website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It records the page, the referring website, the country, and the type of device and browser. It uses no cookies and does not follow you to other websites. Cloudflare hosts the website and can keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security.
When you click Buy, the checkout link tells Dodo Payments which page of this website you came from. We use this only to learn which pages help people buy.
